Post 4: Your Healing Speaks Louder Than You Think

About my last post… too soon? Yeah, it was a hard one for me to revisit too. But as you probably read, it was necessary. If I hadn’t sat with that truth, I might have never realized just how deeply those old complexes of unworthiness and unlovability used to live inside me. These little details can be easy to miss on the healing path, especially when we’re focused on moving forward.

We’ve all seen it. Spiritual leaders, healers, guides of all kinds, opening their doors to serve while quietly skipping the deeper work. They charge ahead, maybe with good intentions, but without tending to their own shadow or trauma. And often, whether they mean to or not, they end up doing more harm than good in their communities.

That’s not the kind of healer I am. And I hope, with all love and respect, that you aren’t either.

I stand firmly on three beliefs that guide my path and my business. First and foremost, we must commit to healing ourselves before ever trying to help someone else. This may be a lifelong journey. You might feel like you’re always in some stage of healing, expanding, refining, and remembering who you are. That’s okay. What matters is that you begin. Start before you feel ready to guide others. You can always make shifts as you grow. Trust me when I say there are people who don’t need the version of you who has everything figured out. They need the you who took the first four steps and lived to tell the tale. That transformation is often more meaningful and real than trying to lead someone down a path you’ve never walked.

The second belief is the power of a supportive community. We need spaces that are safe, nurturing, and aligned with our values. Spaces where we’re allowed to be messy, magical, and still in process. Growth can be lonely when you're doing the work without anyone who understands. So, find your people. Or build the space. Or both.

The third belief is ownership. Ownership of your unique, sacred skills. The kind that brings you into true spiritual sovereignty. That might mean learning new tools, seeking out resources, gaining credentials, or deepening in your craft so that you feel solid. It also means circling back to belief number one, self-healing, again and again until you have what I call Soul Confidence.

Soul Confidence is that divine knowing that rises up from within when you’ve walked through the fires, turned your pain into power, and stopped shrinking for anyone. It’s not ego. It’s earned. And when you have it, you speak, lead, and serve from a place no one can shake because you’ve done the work.

To be our best, we have to know who we’ve been, who we aren’t, and who we are, so we can fully become who we’re meant to be. Sometimes, “the voices we listen to matter” is less about guidance and more of a reminder that others are listening to us. And when they are, how can we be sure that our words aren't shaped by unhealed wounds or fears?

The truth is, we can’t always be sure. But even when we share from a place that’s still tender, it can still be powerful. It just has to be honest. We’re all works in progress. But if we’re going to raise our voices, let it be with the awareness that those words carry energy. Let them come from the place inside you that knows healing is possible and happening even now.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Much Love, Maestra Wyzdom DVine
